My name is Janelle, and I am the owner of Lucy. I have made the decision to find Lucy a new home due to upcoming changes in my schedule and availability. I will be starting a demanding academic program that requires significant time commitments, including long hours of study and time away from home. As a result, I am unable to provide the level of attention, consistency, and daily engagement she requires. Lucy deserves more than quick walks and limited time. She deserves presence, consistency, and someone who can truly give her the full life she thrives in. I want Lucy to have a home where she is deeply cared for, exercised, understood, and included. 

About Lucy

Lucy is a beautiful 4-year-old female Lagotto Romagnolo born on July 13, 2021. She has a lively spirit, a loyal heart, and a deep attachment to her person. She forms strong bonds and is the type of dog who checks back during walks to make sure you’re close by. She truly values connection and companionship.She is energetic, playful, and incredibly affectionate with her people. She loves playing fetch and will happily chase a ball for as long as you’re willing to throw it. One of her sweetest little quirks is her love for ice cubes — toss one her way and she’ll catch it right in her mouth! It never gets old. Lucy enjoys healthy treats like apples, bananas, cucumbers (occasionally), and chicken. She does have an allergy to peanut butter, which causes irritation and paw biting, so that must be strictly avoided.
​She is naturally protective and can be anxious in unfamiliar situations. Around other dogs, she may bark or try to create distance if she feels unsure. She tends to get anxious and may run away from dogs she doesn’t know. However, with slow, patient introductions and proper guidance, she adjusts and learns quickly. Lucy is very intelligent and responds well to consistency and positive reinforcement. At her core, Lucy is a loving, loyal companion who wants to feel safe and secure. In the right home — one that offers structure, exercise, patience, and understanding — she will flourish and give back endless devotion. She truly has so much love to give.

Lucy’s Breeding Experience

Lucy has had two wonderful litters and has proven to be an exceptional mother throughout her breeding experiences. She is naturally nurturing, attentive, and takes wonderful care of her puppies from the moment they are born. She is calm and patient with her babies, ensuring they are well cared for and comfortable during their early development. For breeding, she was typically bred using the artificial insemination process. This method works best for us because Lucy benefits from being gradually introduced to new dogs and environments. Artificial insemination allows the process to be smooth, controlled, and efficient while keeping Lucy comfortable and stress-free. However if you are planning to breed her naturally, it is important that she be properly introduced to the male dog prior to her breeding period. This allows her time to become comfortable and familiar with the male before breeding takes place. Lucy has never had any complications during pregnancy or delivery. She gives birth naturally and handles the entire process very well. She consistently shows strong maternal instincts and does an amazing job raising her puppies. Overall, she is truly a wonderful and dedicated mother, and her temperament and care for her puppies are qualities we deeply value in our breeding program.

Lucy’s Next Breeding Session

Lucy’s next breeding cycle is expected to occur sometime between June and July. Her cycles typically occur about every sixth to seven months. While this timeframe is based on her previous patterns, cycles can sometimes come slightly earlier or later. Around this period, you can begin
monitoring her cycle and prepare for breeding for her next litter.

Molly is very obedient dog and loves to please. She is very gentle and caring  and also has a big loving heart. She really enjoys to snuggle and play hide & seek, ball, go for drives and walks with the kids.
